Delivery Information

Delivery Information

We process orders from Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays and we aim to dispatch orders within 24 – 48 hours.  Please be aware that orders during holidays, bank holidays and busy seasons may take longer to dispatch.

Once your order has been shipped out to you, you will receive an email to let you know that your order is ‘Complete’ and on its way.  This email will include your tracking information.

You can also  track your order status by either signing into your account and viewing your order or by adding your email address and order ID into the form on the order tracking page. retropetite.com/order-tracking/

Orders are shipped via the Royal Mail.

UK Delivery.

UK Delivery post & packaging details:

  • Free standard UK shipping on orders over £40.
  • Standard UK Delivery: £3.95.
  • 1st class signed for: £5.05

UK estimated delivery times:

  • 1st Class signed for – Estimated delivery 1 – 3 days.
  • Standard UK delivery – Estimated delivery 3 – 5 days.
  • Free UK shipping – Estimated delivery 3 – 5 days.

Orders not using recorded delivery are being purchased at your own risk.  For more information on Delivery Options Visit the Royal Mail website

International Delivery.

Due to the impact on airlines and flight availability from the Covid-19 pandemic there may be delays on international orders.  Therefore we are temporarily suspending international deliveries and are currently only delivering to the UK. Please keep checking back for any updates.

 

Will I be charged customs and Import duties?

In most cases, any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches it’s destination country.

You may be charged for handling fees and taxes as your order passes through customs.  Any charges on a parcel must be paid by the person receiving the parcel.

Retro Petite has no control over these charges and we can’t tell you what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to county.

It might be a good idea to contact your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you are not surprised by any charges you were not expecting.

Retro Petite will not be responsible for any handling fees and/or customs charges in any event.

Returns, Cancellations & Exchanges

Returns Policy

We want you to be happy with your order. If you would like to return an item please contact us at info@retropetite.com.

We must be notified by email within 14 days of receipt that you wish to return your order.  Once we have been notified items must be returned within 14 days after notifying us.   In total you have 28 days from the day you receive your order to return the item to us.

If you wish to return any item we will issue a full refund providing the returned item is in the original packaging with swing tag attached and in an unworn condition. Please note that if any tags are removed from the item we will not be able to refund or exchange.  We cannot accept returns outside the 28 day return policy without prior agreement.  Any items returned outside the the 28 day return policy without prior agreement will be returned to the sender at an additional cost.

If the item(s) you have received were delivered late, incorrect or faulty please email us immediately at info@retropetite.com

Items returned will only be accepted if they are returned:

  • in original condition
  • with all tags attached
  • in original packaging.
  • items must not have been worn

Unfortunately Retro Petite are unable to cover the cost of return postage on unwanted items.  We recommend returning items via a tracked method.  Items that are sent via an untracked service are sent at your own risk.

Cancellations

If you would like to amend or cancel your order please contact us as soon as possible at info@retropetite.com with the subject urgent.  Please note that once we have dispatched an order we are unable to amend or cancel your order.

Exchanges

Please contact us within 14 days of receipt if you wish to exchange an item.

Returns policy for Gatsbylady London clothing.

Gatsbylady London’s clothing are all hand embellished and take many hours to complete.  Some beads and sequins may come loose or fall off if not handled correctly, due to the nature of hand embellished items, therefore items come with spare beads attached.  Please note loss of beads cannot be treated as faulty after wearing the dress and cannot be accepted for a refund or replacement. As the garments are hand embellished, every garment isn’t 100% symmetrical and may vary between each other slightly.

On return all goods will be inspected and must meet the following criteria:

 

  •    All original tags must be attached
  •    All items must be returned in the same condition & packaging as they were received
  •    All items have not been worn
  •    All items are free of any odours
  •    All items must be in saleable condition

Retro Petite returns policy also applies to Gatsbylady London and Chi Chi London clothing.
